The guest house history

As a farm the hotelbuilding was already mentioned in 1350. Around 1600 for a fee by 18 guldens to the office for forest "Sebaldi" in Nuernberg the restaurant pemission and the permission to brew beer was aquiered. ?In the thirty-year-war the house burned completely down. A new pub, which was destroyed again in 1688 with the large fire in the "lower market" was rebuildt in 1675. The same was established to 1692 with stables for the accommodation of the horses by traveling businessmen.

1721 the tower in front of the house was buildt, which served as customs agency which have to been payed by traveling businessmen and carriers.1856 acquired Georg Adelmann the site, which is since that time in family estate. By it still today the house name "Adelmann" exists. After his early death, married his woman a Konrad Distler. Next inheritance was his son Georg Distler. His daughter Babette took over the site with her married man Fritz Soergel 1947

1952 were torn off the brewing house and built at same place a hotel with 70 beds. Since 1966 the married people Heinz and Else Soergel lead that far out known hotel, which offers workstation in all its spaces for 250 guests. Since 1998 Gerhard and Andrea Soergel lead the restaurant and Heinz and Else Soergel the hotel. Faithfully the tradition they endeavore the well-being of the guests.
